About
With hundreds of fish and skilled anglers to help novices to get started, Take A Kid Fishing is a great way to introduce children to this lifetime passtime.
Every year, local fishing club members, Isaac Salmon and other local businesses donate to give children an opportunity to hook a big one and maybe catch the fishing bug.
Phil Keen, executive chef at Jo Seagar's famous Cook School and Cafe, will show parents how to prepare and cook the catch.
This is a great FREE day out for the whole family.
The event will be held, wet or fine, with fishing starting for the under-12s at 9am. From 1pm, older children can try their luck. Some rods available for loan and one-on-one tuition for the youngest anglers.
